I liked what now?
was trying to feed my squirrel friends some cheetos and they stole the whole bag…

It was funny when you thought of it. It was like a movie..Behind every pair of best friends was girl who destroyed their friendship. It wasn’t like she meant to, she do it. When Duran left, she wa left sad and vulnerable falling into the arms of her whitelighter. She had called him for a reason, not only cause she missed him but because she wanted to see her whitelighter. “I just - you’ve been avoiding me and I’m sure that’s not in your job description.” she laughed a little at her comment, “Too early?” biting her bottom lip, she looked around the park and sighed. “I wanted to tell you the truth..behind all of this.”
“Truth?” Now she had her full on attention, “What truth? What are you talking about?” He was confused, Alexa never came clean about anything unless she was caught in the act or unless she was getting something out of it. Looking at her, he waited for her to say something, anything. Now watching her carefully, he could notice how nervous she was. Alexa was never scared of anything. “What is it, Alexa?”
Max didn’t know what happened that night. He didn’t need to know what happened really, he knew who’s fault it was. Alexa’s. Good witch turned bad. The reason why his brotherhood broke apart. He didn’t mean to look like a creep or stalker. But he knew anytime Fred and Alexa were together was not for tea and biscuits. Yes Fred and Duran had told Max to take sides, but he wasn’t planning on doing that. Not anytime soon anyways. He was behind a tree, listening to everything that was being said. Frowning slightly as Alexa said, the truth. The truth that she was a whore and couldn’t leave his friends alone? Shaking his head he appeared from behind his hiding spot and looked at her. “What truth is it that you speak of? The fact that you couldn’t close your legs and you ruined a friendship? Well shit. Everyone knew that.”
Max told Duran to go with him to this so called meeting. But Duran didn’t want to see Alexa or Fred. He told him they were going to finally settle the big pile of shit between them. Duran wanted that. He wanted that but he wasn’t ready to trust them again. He wasn’t ready to trust Fred again. His so called best friend. But he went nevertheless. He followed Max to the meeting, not saying a word either as he spoke to the other two. He only looked at the ground and could feel their eyes on him, waiting for him to say something. But there was nothing left for him to say. He was all talked out.

Adrie says I look best in a tux. -shrugs-
She could probably start yelling at him for being so stupid, “Duran, I’m not lying.” She tried to think of anything that would make her believe him but of course that was no use, he was already thinking everything she said to him was a lie. “I swear on the love I have for you, I don’t care if you don’t want to believe it. there’s a war, Duran. And they’re coming to get all of you.” She got closer to him as she spoke, “It’s not just about you 3 anymore, it’s about your families. If this gets out of hand, the whole world will know who we are.”
“Right.” He rolled his eyes, looking away from her. “Well, I’m as ready as I can be for a war. Nothing left to lose, right?” He sighed, already fed up with everything she was saying. “Well my family is obviously going to lose against the Lautner Mafia clan. Just forget I even asked.” Duran waved her off, orbing out.
Alexas heart broke once he asked her that question. Unable to answer, she shook her head. “I’m sorry, but, you’re wrong.” She lied, “I had nothing to do with it.” He already hated her, if he started hating her anymore… She didn’t know if she could live like that. As much as she wanted to take the blame for the 3 brothers not being friends anymore, she couldn’t. They would kill her and then they would kill them. “But, please. Don’t do anything. There’s a war going on Duran. A war between good and evil and it’s getting close to the moment where they’ll need all of you. Each person on their side. Hide, Duran. Hide.” She couldn’t stand the fact knowing that either Fred or Duran might get hurt, she had tried talking to Fred earlier, but he was as stubborn as a bull not wanting to hear anything she had to say. “Please, hide. I don’t want you getting hurt.”
He frowned hearing her words. “A war? When was this?” He was always the last to know about everything, always the one that got left out. He bet she told Fred and Max already. His mouth went into a thin line. “Well you know, I’m just asking because you were there. So you would know what happened.” The attitude on his voice was obvious. He looked away from her, shrugging. “I don’t need to hide. I’m too gullible to do it anyways.” He didn’t believe a word coming from her mouth.
Alexa didn’t know what it was that kept her attached to these boys. After trying so hard, she found herself going back to them and vise versa. She loved them both equally but she knew she didn’t deserve either, not after what she did. Hopping out of her car, she walked towards Duran. Seeing him standing in front of her this time was different, he had lost his best friends and his brothers because of her. Shaking that guilty feeling off, she faked the biggest smile she could possibly imagine. “Hi, Duran.” She said, softly. “What’s all this about?”
Duran took a deep breath, mentally preparing himself for this, seeing her walking towards him. “What happened that night.” He needed to know, everything in his life was slowly slipping away from him, he lost his family and now Adrie was about to leave him. He looked at her seriously, waiting for her answer. He knew, he just knew she had something to do with it. Her and that bitch of a best friend who changed her.
Duran waited in their usual spot, knowing for a fact she’d turn up when he called upon her. He stuffed his hands in his pockets sighing a little. This was their spot, theBlood brothers. No matter how much he tried to remember what happened that night he always came up blank. Whenever he thought of Alexa he always got these mixed feelings, not really loving her but not completely over her. He shouldn’t be doing this he knew, as soon as he saw her he would fall in love with her all over again, that’s what being a whitelighter did. But it was time to talk to her, she was back after all.
